GRAYSON PERRY: THE VANITY OF SMALL DIFFERENCES

TEMPLE NEWSAM, LEEDS: 23RD AUGUST – 7TH DECEMBER 2014

If you saw the Channel 4 documentary ‘All in the Best Possible Taste with Grayson Perry’, then this exhibition might be of interest to you. But that doesn’t mean to say this is an exclusive piece, only to be viewed by those in the know. In fact, it’s anything but – as this showcase at Temple Newsam is an exploration of social class, depicting characters he’s met in Sunderland as well as Tunbridge Wells and The Cotswolds.

Expect bright colours and a bold message with ‘The Vanity of Small Differences’, which has been running since the end of August and is on display until the 7th December. We can’t recommend enough that you see this series of six tapestries before they collectively head off on an international tour supported by the British Council.
